بچھڑتے لمحوں میں
اس نے مجھ سے کہا تھا دیکھو
”ہماری راہیں جدا جدا ہیں
مگر ہمیں ایک دوسرے کا خیال رکھنا ہے زندگی بھر
کسی بھی لمحہ اداسیوں کی
فصیل حائل نہ ہونے دینا
ہوا کے ہاتھوں پہ لکھتے رہنا
جدائیوں کے تمام قصے
قدم قدم پر جو پیش آئیں
وہ سانحے بھی نظر میں رکھنا
میں جب بھی لوٹا تو اپنے ہونٹوں کی تازگی کو
تمہاری بجھتی ہوئی ان آنکھوں میں لا رکھوں گا
جو میری اپنی ہیں صرف میری”
بچھڑتے لمحوں میں اس نے مجھ سے نہ جانے کیا کچھ کہا سنا تھا
اور اب
اسے بھی یہی کہے گا
وہ جس کے ہاتھوں میں ہاتھ ڈالے
نئے سفر پر نکل پڑا ہے
